Lapland, Finland // 2013
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We just recently had the opportunity of travelling to northern Finland to shoot a wedding… This trip was a collaboration between Los Taipales of Tampere and our team… It was a 12 hour road trip to Lapland, and what a beautiful drive it was… When we arrived there, we were shocked by a little surprise that for the next two weeks in Lapland, Finland, the sun wouldn’t be rising… Even though it was a bit difficult with lighting at times, we were able to sneak some amazing shots and capture many memories of Jun and Sharon! Can’t wait to release the wedding photos and video in January, but for now I will post some awesome memories…
And if I don’t post from now until Christmas, I just want to wish all you a MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Pompshop Lifestyle Shoot // 2013
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ It’s been an awesome feeling taking a break from wedding shoots and being able to focus on new projects… I have never really done any lifestyle shoots for clothing companies, so it was a learning experience for sure… But I had a great time, and I think we were able to get great shots… The store that I did the shoot for is an awesome clothing store found in Seinäjoki, Finland… If you are ever paying a visit to Seinäjoki, make sure you stop by at Pompshop, and say hi to the owners for me

Graduation Portraits // 2013
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I felt like continuing these series of posts, to show what wedding photographers do in their off season. When the wedding season ends, I am able to do a lot more creative and unique projects that I might not have the time for during the summer months. A friend of mine contacted me to do graduation portraits as he just finished high school. Here in Finland, graduating from high school is celebrated with a huge party, where the graduate gives away thank you cards of their graduation portrait. Kasimir is a super awesome guy, with a young and free kind of heart. We wanted to do something a little bit untraditional for his graduation portraits.
Check out what we were able to accomplish… I’m pretty happy with the results.
